I've beat the game...I couldn't put it down since i bought it. Graphics are fantastic, and the player controls are great. I agree with another players comments in that after you work to build this great NBA baller, and beat Rags to Riches. You should be able to enter him in the TV tournament, play some of the matches over, or use him in other modes.... It would be great if midway created another whole game. ex(NBA Ballers Fullcourt)and created a full court environment that you could put you're ballplayer on a team and play with him in an NBA baller league. Hopefully they would use the same engine and make the player portable between NBA Ballers one on one. And NBA ballers fullcourt. (Does it make you say humm???)....
Anyway... - For new players, if the other player gets the point, you have not cleared the ball, dribble the ball past the yellow 3point line, it will disappear, then you are clear to shoot! 2nd, to do the JuiceHouse move. Press the "Y" button for the alley oop when the crowd is yelling "JuiceHouse" from the top of the free throw area. You're House meter has to be full, but you're juice meter can be partially full(half full should do); and the player can ally oop even if you haven't purchased the alley oop attribute for you're player. Push the player control stick forward towards that basket and squeeze both triggers as you're player runs under the high tossed ball. If you do it right, you'll see you're player jump in slow motion and break the backboard. It may take you a few times, but its fun once you get used to it. -mg

When I played the game I thought the graphics was great. What I dislike is the fact that you work hard to build up credits to make your customize player stronger and if his attributes get higher than the NBA players, the game strip you of all your statistics. I also dislike the fact that you gain all these credits to buy cars but you can only get a quick glimpse of it. I think you should be able to drive to your tournaments. The only thing worth saving you credits for is one friend and the special moves. i don't want to buy a car to just look at it. I think Midway could have put a little more effort into the game as far as making you want to play the game. I like the music alot. I got bored with this game two days later. I just don't see the point in playing other than with your friends. As far as gameplay it easy to score on your opponent, I like the fancy moves. I think the game should be more in depth, for example, show the NBA Baller on down time. Buying furniture and things of that sort for your crib (after all you paid a million or more credits for it)! Also you should be able to show off your cars, drive around town all bling up with your friends in the back. Same on Rags to Riches, you building this character up, for what though. So I can get a quick glimpse at my car before the game starts. In my opinion, this game is not what I expected. I thought it would be much more fun since you can buy things. If I can't use what I buy, it is pointless.

I do not like this game because for one it is copied off nba street and it doesent seem any better. This game tries to add things to make it better but it just makes the game look worst. for example the game has a story mode called rags to riches this is a terrible story mode because the so called movies in there are not movies but just pictures that are narroated by that ugly fake freestyle ledgend. midway also doesent know a thing about music. i wonder if they ever thought why some of these so called artist are never discovered. well its because they cannot sing or rap. It was probably created by stereo type white people who thought that this is what black people listen to. Every song on there is terrible and i am sorry that i spent my money on it. In the last two points of the game and the last ten seconds you always miss even if you make an easy two but the computer player always makes it. and how do you get fouls, shot clocks that come on too early, a clock counting down, goaltending, freethrows and other nba rules that are not suppose to be in a street basketball game. and how do you have a three people basketball games that is not a ruff it is just three people on their own team. this game is garbage one way or the other. I have alot more i could say but im not going to so if anyone reads this before they go out and buy it dont spend your good money on this bull.

This game is probably the best basetball game for non-basketball fans. If you are like me, and find the NBA boring to watch, and un-interesting to play, then this game is for you. I had bought ESPN Basketball, and found myself only playing the 24/7 mode, which is a one-on-one game. So this game takes that one step further. The graphics are great, but this game is definately not realistic. But it is fun and entertaining to play. Some of the moves get a little boring, and it might have more staying power if they added a two-on-two aspect, but the 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 isn't bad. I would definately recommend to rent this one first, give it a try, and then buy it if you found yourself playing hours on end like me. The online aspect makes it worth buying in itself. They could've done more with the "bling" you get, like have a display case, or show you driving around in your new Caddy, but it is fun to get them. Overall, this game is fun, and isn't that what gaming is all about? But why only use rap on the soundtrack?

i am somewhat displeased with the game. sure it has great graphis, and gameplay is pretty good, but i felt it lacked depth. you can build your character up in the rags to riches mode but it all goes on performance. what to boost your 3 point rating, shoot a lot more 3's and make some. i also dont like the credit mode. after you build up your character the leftover points are useless. i felt this game could have been a 10 if only a few more things were worked out. let me use the things i earned. why get a car you cant use? also, the game becomes pretty repetitive after a while. differnt people in the tourneys, but same things are asked of you to do. and how nice would it be if you could unlock characters during your rags 2 riches mode. overall i do feel this game is worth buying if you enjoyed NBA street series. all i can say is i cant wait till next year when part 2 comes out and hopefully all the bugs will be worked out and we can all enjoy a great 1 on 1 basketball game.

NBA Ballers is the most in depth game i have ever played |

NBA Ballers is the best sport game I have ever played. I have played NBA Street Vol 1 and 2, NBA Inside Drive 2004, NBA Live 2004 and almost every basketball game made for Xbox and Gamecube. You can buy cars in all different colors, make new friends in Rags 2 Riches and earn extra attributes to your created player and even create your mansion. The gameplay is smooth and creative such as taunts, pass to friend, slow motion act a fool moves and even your friends can alley-oop you. You can also buy over 10 different special abilities. I think this is the best game for any system especially if you're a sports fan. They used over 7 profesionnal streetballers to design the playground moves. I hope they can come out with a second one. By the way the graphics are the best I have ever seen on any video game. Go out and buy a copy.

This game plain ol' reeks. First of all you need to take more time to make this game. Second of all you need to make it a little more exspensive, it started at forty bucks. This game and Batman are battling it out for who's worst. Im still going with bat man but wnba ballers ecscuse me i mean nba ballers is not a game to be taken for granit. Just cuase the comercial looks cool doesn't mean its a pheonom. If they come out with a second one it should take alittle more time and work. But until then NBA STREET VOL2 HOLDS THE TITLE FOR THE BEST BASKETBALL GAME EVER.

this is the best game ever especially for xbox if they make another part to nba ballers i will definatly buy it. it is by far the best game ever made or thought of. it's got everything create a baller hints tips and house,car,and friends to select from. every other basketball game can not compete and it gives hope to kids trying to make it big as a basketball player sure the host mc supernatural is stupid i think no game can top or compete except a part two of this game and if they had a football game like this besides nfl street it would beas good or even better

If you love basketball this is the game to get. For all of you out there cryin sayin this ain't a good game and ratin it anything below 10 because you dont know anything about the game of basketball then ya'll need to just trade in your xbox for some fingernail polish you little girls. I love basketball and I havent played any other game but this game since i bought it. So for anyone out ther who loves to ball and loves the intensity and excitement of playing one on one then get this game. you wil definitely not be dissappointed.

When I saw the making of the game I thought it was going to be the shizzle! Not the case...You get a lot of credits and can do nothing with them. Game play is pretty simplistic. I don't like the fact that you can't choose anyone you want. I dont like how they have everything in different categories and I HATE certain challenges..Like the hold them under 5 point challenge. I don't think this games measures up to NBA street all to well. The "Making of" program that was on TV is better than the game. Plus the codes suck...

This game is off the hook, if you love ballin, and making your player shine in rags to riches this is the game to buy. The moves will rattle those who are still tryin to be what you already are!! This game gives true meaning to gettin what you put in for REAL!!!!!! Give it a try, you won't be able to put it down for hours. If you dont like this game its because you just cant cut it in the real world of true ballin' What other game can you play where you cant even afford good clothes or kicks to shine like the pros.

i admit that i like this game but it could have been so much better. they pretty much wasted this game because if they would have acctually put some effort into it, it could have been sooooo much better. not nearly what i expected. oh yeah also another thing i've been trying to find out how do bring down the house and i cant figure it out. i get the house meter all the way up but what do you do from there. maybe somebody can help. but all around i thing its better that both streets.

This is a great game if you like Nba Street 1 or 2 then Nba Ballers is for you. I love all the extra stuff that Nba Street doesn't have. It's fun and challenging to build your Baller from the ground up. You get to play against some good ballers while you maintain a life style that is accustomed to an NBA star but the catch if you don't have no game you will be just some nut from that hood with busted up gear and no skills. This game is great but can be better. I don't like the fact you can't take your Rags to Riches player to the TV tournament after you take all that time to make him good and what is the point in doing the Rags to Riches if you can buy everything in the TV tournament. Don't get me wrong but their are some improvements to be made but I also haven't been able to put this game down since I got it. Good game but needs some improvements.

I recomended that every sports craze fan buy this game. It has all the makings of a classin game that should be in everyones collection. I played it for 2 minutes and it drove me crazy. The moves and the control was off the hook. I love this game. The game has great graphics and the faces look real. Ea sports will really have to work hard to top this one. I cant wait to see if the do. i strongly doubt it thought.

the game was good.the only downfall was that in create a player i picked iversons move set then payed 2 million credits for stunt dunks to find that i can not do them.the fact that u pay 300,000 for a cadillac escalade and only see it for 5 seconds is dumb i would recommend buying this game but only if you have alot of patience and want good replay because i beat half of the game in two days

The game is garbage, its a waste of a day, it didnt even keep me motivated to play for more than two "matches". Dont change the game(basketball) and substitute it with this. the only thing i wanted to see was the cars. time i get them i cant even walk through my garage to see them. the challenges are retarted and Midway is making huge bank off of the american public. Weak.
