The Fresh prince of persia |
| Gamefather from Macedon,NY,USA says (6/May/2004): |
Prince of persia is the future of future video games. This game offers a pheonominal game play and is easily the best game of its kind. There will be another one becuase its to good of a game to be forgotten. The wall running is the best part of the game aswell as the fighting and is one of my favorite fighting action games. This game offers vaulting moves of such a style and is great that you can go back in time. The ending is the best that ive ever seen and until Shenmue 3 comes out The prince of persia is the best action game today.

This game is WAY sweet |
| Adam from Michigan, USA says (29/Nov/2003): |
This game rocks, the graphics are stunning. You can explore your surroundings by pushing the black button, then use the 2nd thumb stick to look around in first person. If you push right on the D pad it gives you an environment view or the whole room. You can run on walls, do backflips, Dodge in every direction, and even do a flip over the enemy and slice them in the back with your sword. Over all this game is awsome. Even the story kicks butt. A Young prince wanting to please his father goes in search of the legendary treasure the "dagger of time". When he finds it, you have the ability to rewind time, freeze enemies, and stop them all together. The king, prince of persia's father, gets the sands of time in a giant hourglass and takes it as a gift to another king. Some wizard tricks the prince into putting the dagger into the hourglass which in turns releases the sands of time. The whole game you have to kill monsters and figure out puzzles to capture the sands of time and put it back into the hourglass. I highly suggest everyone buy or at least rent this game.

Just as it's supposed to be |
| King from Montréal, Québec says (28/Nov/2003): |
All the old timer fans of PoP will agree that the original version's playability was just perfectly depicted. Once you start playing this fantastic game you simply can't stop. Add the magnificient graphics and the cool fighting technique and you've got an almost perfect game. Those who say that the game is oriented too much towards puzzles just don't understand the essence of PoP. The only negative point (it's minor) is the camera control that is not always perfect, but you get use to it. It's the best game i've played since Fatal Frame

POP, Do the Sands of Time Run Out Too Fast? |
| James K. from Hampton, Virginia, USA says (26/Nov/2003): |
The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is an overall good game. The graphics are completely top-notch with seamless venturing from one scene to the next. Visually, it's an exciting game, however the game lacks the ability to easily look at your surroundings.
In order to gain a first-person view you must press the black button. While this at first seems not so bad, as soon as you move the left thumbstick, you're immediately taken right back to to the default view. While perfectly still, you can view the entire scenery and search for clues to get to the next room.
The game focuses more on making a puzzle out of moving from room to room than it does anything else. This is the only major disappointment of the game.
While most rooms/levels are fairly easy to figure out, it soon becomes too tough, so much so that you actually get frustrated and bored.
If it were not for the difficulty of viewing your surroundings and figuring out how to make it from one room to the next, The Prince of Persia would be a solid 10. However, with the focus of the game more about the puzzle of making it from one room to another, I have to say the Sands of Time runs out way too fast!
