Barely above average. Yeah, the story is ok and the graphics are ok...Should be MUCH better for XBOX title. The nexus areas look like super nintendo environments...PLEASE! The controls are pretty crappy too. I would rent this one or buy it from EB games and sell it back when you finish. GRRRRR

the best game play ive seen in along time.The story line is good. first person mode makes it the best game ever. i should know because im almost finished it. The layout of the story is well presented in the way you think one thing is real but it turns out that it is not that also give the game something others dont have.

I bought this game on a flim, not expecting much. Needless to say I was blown away. Saying it's a FPS isn't fair, it's more of a first person adventure. You are 1st person though the whole game, it never pulls out. The story is one of the best I have ever experienced, better even than Halo. I play (and buy) alot of games, over the past 6 months I've bought 40, but I've only beaten 3, and BreakDown is one of those few game that kept me interested in it long enough to beat it, very rare indeed. I actually stopped playing Ninja Gaiden to play BreakDown. Highly reccomended with no regrets. The only other games I have recently beaten are Deus Ex: Invisible War on Xbox, and Metroid: Zero Mission on GBA, and I'd have to put Breakdown above both of those on terms of quality and originality. I hope and pray for a sequal

i like this game alot. its fun and has a good story. graphics are good and so is the sound. this game was one of the reasons i got a xbox. this game is cool because you do everything in first person (would be lame if it was 3rd person). if you like 1st person games you'll like this too. if you don't then rent first but you probably like it unless your a FOOL!!!!!!!!

Very well done. Really gives you the feeling of being the person you are playing... I'm almost done the game an I ahve had a great time playing it. VERY good story line.
Only negative thing I have to say is that it really copies off of Half-life. Could have done things differently there. Some people that know alot about Half-life will know what I'm talking about. But dont get me wrong this is an amazaing game. Very original. GOOD WORK TEMCO!

i think this game is awesome, altho im not really far into it, the first person animations are absolutely amazing but the blocky shadows kinda annoy me... not enuf to detract from the game at all tho

ive played most of it, worst game ever. I mean there are no cheats, you cant fly, theres no boobs, graphics were poorly done, and your mom even got bored of it. On a scale of 1-10, id give it a negative four for crappy.
