Innocentz come out and playyyyyyyyyyy! | | Miguel from Los Angeles says (4/May/2004): | Let’s see… what can I say about manhunt on the Xbox? Well it dose remind me of that old movie The Warriors, and that it’s one of the bloodiest and most awesome stealth games to hit the gaming scene ever. For some reason rockstar games has a knack for releasing games that as a gamer I use to say “hey wouldn’t that be cool if they made a game where you can car jack someone?” Well once again rockstar games have managed to some what shock the gaming world with manhunt. This game is terrifying, frantic, and exciting all rolled into one. In this game you play a caricature by the name of James Earl Cash who is sentenced to death by electric chair. He wakes up sometime later and realizes that he was only given a heavy sedative. He is given a second chance at life only to be ordered to take the lives of others in Carson City. At this point you place an ear piece in your ear and communicate with the man responsible for you being in this situation. He is known as Starkweather a.k.a the director. After he tells you that you are the star of one of his “snuff” videos you are let loose in Carson City to KILL KILL KILL! This is when it gets good! As you go thru the game you get different weapons some that you may hold on to throughout the scene like the nail gun, aluminum bat, and knife. And there are also weapons that can only be used once like the shard of class, and wire. This game is a stealth game at heart even though you can go toe to toe with the gangs you will no doubt ably be overcome by there power in numbers. The graphics are awesome and the sound WILL get your heart pumping not to mention the screams and taunts from the gang members them selves. I read a lot of reviews on this game before picking it up for my Xbox and in all or most of them it says you should have a strong stomach for this title… well I should add to this by saying you should also be strong minded because this game will mess with you. I recommend this game to those who like stealth games, slasher movies, or anyone who is looking for an intense gaming experience. So turn of the lights, lock the doors and get ready for one of the scariest, exciting, and fun games from rockstar!
