Medal of Honor, call of duty. Letdwons. Then, Ubisoft brings us the best WWII game yet. Brothers in Arms is a squad based FPS for PC, Xbox, and PS2. It is based loosley on a true story. The game starts off at, what a surprise, D-Day. After the drop, you will be given a squad that will do everything you say. Which brings me to the AI:BEST EVER! They don't leave cover just because you start shooting, unlike, say, D=Call of Duty. Your guys are pretty smart, but the replacements you get later in the game are kinda stupid AI wise. Anyway, your squad is broken up into 2 teams:A fireteam, used to surpress enemies behind cover, and your assualt team, best at flanking and charging positons. The game forces you to take cover or die. You don't really take as many hits as in other games, but it isn't really hard. As long as you stay in cover. There are only a few timee in the game where you can go rambo and kill everyone./ Normally, if you do that, you get cutdown. The graphics:Awesome. Every detail on a persons face comes up. There are no glitches that i've found. But what really won me over was when greanades exploded, they didn't go up in a huge fireball, unlike most other games. Instaed, it explodes in a small flame and throws fragments everywhere. When a german is right next to it, it even blows limbs off. Thge wounmds look good, too. Every grotesque corpse looks vividly real. The sound was pure genius. The sounds were so diferent than other games. The M1 sounds very different from other game. The greanades sound awesome. The voices were all different so i could tell who was talking everytime. Also, the tanks driving sounded superb. The only bad thing about this game is that the gun sways too much while you are standing. Whjen crouched, it doens't move much. Anyway, i know they're trying to be realistic, but when i go shooting with my dad, my gun doesn't sway that much. Also, bullets that should have hit people didn't. Anyway, this game goes for realism and fun, and it works well. I definetley recomend this game to anyone with a tatse for FPS,m whetehr you like squad based or not.
